JAZZ BAND 9-12

Jazz Band is a multi-grade advanced performance class for band students who wish to push their musicianship further and challenge themselves to play advanced repertoire, improvise, and learn a variety of styles of large ensemble music. Jazz Band rehearses 2-3 times a week at 7am as an X block class (for credit). In order to join the jazz band, you must be enrolled in Concert Band 9-12.

The ensemble performs throughout the school year, including at the Surrey Jazz Festival in February and on the annual band trip in the Spring.
